The Espiga Leather Blazer embodies CURATORIA’s dialogue between craft and tailoring, merging the sculptural lines of the Esquila Jacket with the artisanal language of Lazo.

Crafted from vegetable-tanned cowhide leather and a semi hand-loomed herringbone merino wool textile, developed by an artisan, it explores the tension between structure and texture.

Subtle front fringes introduce movement, while its close, highly fitted silhouette, cut to sit at the high hip, defines a sharp, precise, and distinctly feminine line.

A concealed hook closure at the waist reinforces its tailored construction.

Care

The maintenance and cleaning of Wool fabrics require special attention due to the characteristics of this natural fibre, which is soft, lightweight, and delicate. Below, we share recommendations for their care, based on the best practices in textile care:


  • We recommend professional cleaning for this piece.
  • The piece may be damaged by hand washing, the best option is dry cleaning for its care.
  • If there are stains, exceptionally, they can be treated by attempting to remove them with a clean, soft cloth, slightly dampened.
  • Never use a centrifuge or tumble dryer.
  • Exceptionally, hand wash with cold water (maximum 30°C), using a mild or neutral soap.
  • Do not use bleach or harsh detergents.
  • Avoid wringing, rubbing, or scrubbing.
  • Lay flat on a clean, dry towel in a well-ventilated area to dry, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, such as radiators or stoves.
  • If necessary, iron on a low setting, preferably with steam, using a cotton cloth between the iron and the garment to prevent direct contact of the heat with the wool.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • Use a breathable fabric bag for long-term storage. Avoid storing in plastic bags.
  • Avoid crushing by stacking wool garments excessively.
  • Avoid contact with perfumes, hairsprays, creams, or harsh chemicals that may stain or damage the wool.
  • Continuous friction with textured or rough surfaces can damage the wool.

  • We recommend having leather garments cleaned by specialised dry cleaners.
  • Remove dust and dirt with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasives that could scratch or damage the texture.
  • Avoid contact with water. If it gets wet by accident, blot off excess moisture with a soft cloth and let it air dry in the shade at room temperature.
  • Avoid using hair dryers or direct heat sources.
  • Nourish the leather every season with cream, wax, or oil specifically designed for leather.
  • Do not machine wash.
  • Do not use a tumble dryer.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and excessive heat.
  • Protect it with a fabric pouch for storage.
  • Store flat and unfolded, to avoid creases, in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • If not in use for an extended period, store them in a breathable fabric bag, not plastic, as plastic can trap moisture and damage the leather.
  • Avoid contact with perfumes, hairsprays, creams, or harsh chemicals that could stain or damage the leather.
  • Avoid friction with rough or abrasive surfaces.
