The care and maintenance of baby alpaca fabrics require special attention, due to the unique characteristics of this exceptional natural fibre, which is soft, lightweight and of the highest quality. Below, we share recommendations based on best practices in textile care:

• Professional cleaning is recommended.
• Exceptionally, hand washing is possible using water at room temperature (maximum 30 °C) and a neutral shampoo or gentle soap suitable for delicate garments.
• To dry, first wrap the garment in a clean cloth to remove excess water, then lay it flat on a clean, dry towel in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat such as radiators or stoves.
• Do not machine wash.
• Don't iron.
• In case of stains, and only if strictly necessary, they may be gently removed using a clean, soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Never use a spin dryer or tumble dryer.
• Do not use bleach or harsh detergents.
• Avoid twisting, rubbing or scrubbing the fabric.
• Store the garment folded in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
• Do not hang on hangers or attach with clips or pegs, as the natural weight of the fibre may cause it to lose its shape.
• For long-term storage, use a breathable fabric cover.
• Avoid storing in plastic bags.
• Do not stack wool garments excessively to prevent crushing.
• Avoid contact with perfumes, sprays, creams or other harsh chemical products that could stain or damage the natural fibre.
• Continuous friction with rough or textured surfaces may damage or wear the wool.
