LEATHER

  • We recommend having leather garments cleaned by specialised dry cleaners.
  • Remove dust and dirt with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasives that could scratch or damage the texture.
  • Avoid contact with water.
  • Avoid using hair dryers or direct heat sources.
  • Nourish the leather every season with cream, wax, or oil specifically designed for leather.
  • Do not machine wash.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and excessive heat.
  • Protect it with a fabric pouch for storage.
  • Store flat and unfolded, to avoid creases, in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • If not in use for an extended period, store them in a breathable fabric bag, not plastic, as plastic can trap moisture and damage the leather.
  • Avoid contact with perfumes, hairsprays, creams, or harsh chemicals that could stain or damage the leather.
  • Avoid friction with rough or abrasive surfaces.

JEWELRY

The Curatoria jewellery can remain as beautiful in the years to come as it is today. All materials share the same care and cleaning methods, which is why we suggest:

  • Remove your jewellery when washing hands, engaging in sports, showering, or retiring for the day.
  • Apply fragrances or cosmetics to the skin before wearing the jewellery, and allow a brief period for them to dry in order to avoid direct contact with the piece.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures and harsh solutions such as creams, perfumes, seawater, chlorine, and alcohols.
  • Store them individually in flannel pouches to prevent them from rubbing against each other.
  • Clean them relatively frequently and ensure they are thoroughly dried before storing.
  • Store the pieces with the clasps fastened. Regularly check and adjust the closures and fittings.
  • Simple contact with air can oxidise the materials, so we recommend storing jewellery pieces in airtight containers or securely sealed pouches.
  • If necessary, the jewellery piece can be submerged in lukewarm soapy water (no warmer than 30°C). Brushing is not recommended.
  • Dry thoroughly before polishing with a soft, dry cloth.

KNITWEAR

Whether made from llama, merino, vicuña, classic wool, cotton, or natural-fiber blends—requires gentle care to preserve its shape, softness, and longevity. Below, you’ll find the best practices to keep your pieces looking their best:

  • Prefer professional cleaning
  • Hand-wash cotton or sturdy blends in cold water with mild soap.
  • Do not wring, rub, or use centrifuge/tumble dryer.
  • Dry flat, away from sunlight and heat.
  • Reshape while damp; do not hang.
  • Iron on low heat with a cloth between the iron and the garment.
  • Continuous friction against rough surfaces can damage fibers—handle with care.
  • Store in a cool, dry place in a breathable bag.
  • Avoid contact with perfumes or harsh products.
