Our Materials

Our focus is on taking advantage of materials of Argentine origin, generating job opportunities for local artisans and promoting the use of local raw materials in a sustainable way.

Merino Wool

Recognized for its exceptional softness, warmth and breathability. Its fine and luxurious texture ensures superior comfort and excellent performance.

Llama Wool

Valued for its warmth, durability and natural water resistance. Although coarser than vicuña and merino, it provides excellent insulation and a rustic, robust charm.

Vicuna Wool

Known as the "golden fleece of the Andes", it is extremely rare and precious. Coming from the wild vicuña, it is exceptionally soft, light and offers excellent insulation capacity.

Cow Leather

Argentine cowhide, known for its high quality and durability, comes mainly as a byproduct of the meat industry and from animals that have died of natural causes.

Our Techniques

Due to the scarcity of organic and biotechnological materials in Argentina, Curatoria innovates by creating unique materials on custom looms, blending traditional craftsmanship with sustainable practices to produce one-of-a-kind, high-quality textiles.
