“I was asked to photograph the world of Polo by Jaeger-LeCoultre and, although a challenging theme for someone like me with a fashion and aesthetic background, I accepted. I am fascinated and able to understand a bit more the passion that all people involved in the world of Polo shares. I found lots of nobility and wild spirit in them. Also, lots of aesthetically beautiful images, as I watch them get on with their jobs. It all happens very quickly, so you have to be able to steal the shot quickly“, explains Astrid Munoz. “The exhibition is called Unbridled Synchrony. Because all the linked parts like groom, horse, player have to operate with the same precision and simultaneous performance as the components that make a watch. All the components in the team
are as important as each other and if one lacks behind it will affect the performance of the rest.”
